2-star city hotel with seasonal outdoor pool, 5 minutes from St Helier centre

Accommodation

Each of the 197 rooms offers a private bathroom with a bath and shower over the bath. Rooms include a TV, hairdryer, and tea and coffee making facilities. Guest reviews note comfortable beds and plenty of storage space across two large wardrobes.

Dining

A full English breakfast is served each morning in the hotel restaurant, with a continental option of croissant, ham, cheese and yoghurt. Evening meals are available on-site with a three-course set menu priced at £23 per person. Drinks in the bar are noted by guests as reasonably priced compared to other venues in town.

Outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers, pool towels, and a shallow end open seasonally. Evening entertainment in the lounge bar operates during summer months, including live music performances, quizzes, and bingo. A games room contains a pool table and large flatscreen TV for guest use.

Location & Parking

The hotel sits a 5-minute walk from St Helier centre and a less than 10-minute walk from the sandy beach at Havre de Pas. Ample free parking is available on-site, and bus stops directly outside the hotel provide access to Liberation Square. Jersey Airport is a 20-minute drive away, and the harbour is reachable in 5 minutes by car.

Highlights

Location: 5 minutes walk from St Helier centre and 10 minutes from the beach

Parking: Free on-site car park for all guests

Dining: 3-course evening meal from £23 per person

Entertainment: Live music, quizzes and bingo in summer

Pool: Seasonal outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers

Garden: Sun terrace and outdoor seating area with fish pond

“The staff's friendliness and efficient breakfast and dinner service stand out; rooms are comfortable and clean, though the decor leans towards a dated aesthetic. A short walk brings you to the bus station, with a convenient bus stop right outside for further connections, although the simplicity of the food might not suit everyone. Ultimately, it's a convenient and well-serviced base.”
